So you have been blogging away for a while now, getting some traffic and shares, visitors are commenting and liking your posts and you are feeling pretty good.
Then you receive an email notification, open it, read it and someone has visited your blog, decided it’s not up to scratch and sent you a message tearing strips off your writing/topic/views or just getting really personal.
You know what?
Forget It.
Don’t become depressed and feel dejected, don’t stop writing your blog.
Don’t be afraid to speak your mind and express yourself.
The world is a big place and you can’t expect everyone to love you.
Don’t turn one person’s view into a mountain that blocks out the sun, if you do this you will begin to lose confidence in yourself and become afraid to continue your blog. Fear can be such a crippler and can destroy the best of us. Remember that fear is just a facade, you can’t reach out and touch it, smell it, it’s not even a ‘thing’ it’s a ‘what if’
Push past the negative visitors and don’t give them the time of day, don’t get drawn into a debate or argument as that just wastes your time and energy.
Remember it’s your blog and you write for you, no one else.
